Motion:

This Municipal District furthers its work with Coilte and invites the Minister for State for Heritage and Electoral Reform to visit Donadea during local engagements to review progress with allocations to the Historic Structures Fund or the Community Monuments Fund.

"The members considered the following motion in the name of Councillor McEvoy.

The motion was proposed by Councillor McEvoy and seconded by Councillor Weld.

Councillor McEvoy said that €100,000 had been allocated for all costs at Donadea Forest.

That there was great momentum for interfacing the walls around Donadea.

Councillor Weld said that it was a good idea to invite the Minister down to the site. The committee should write as a matter of urgency to the Minister and allow the Minister to decide on a date and time."
