R409 Caragh Road Approach to Dag Welds Junction

Motion:

That the council seek resources to redefine the R409-R403 junction at Blackwood Crossroads near Dag Weld's pub for improved vehicle positions and sightlines for approaching traffic.

Report:

Kildare County Council is progressing a scheme to tighten the south side of this junction and remove the existing poles to improve sightlines at this junction.

A quotation has been accepted from Eir for the diversion works, and a design package is being prepared for the works.
