Question:

Can the council update the committee on progress towards improvements to the public realm in Clane?

Report:

An initial meeting was held between the Public Realm team and the Area Engineer in respect of this project. Design work will commence on this project later in the summer when additional resources are assigned to the Public Realm Team. Plans will include the provision of wider footpaths where appropriate, pedestrian crossings, and subject to site suitability street tress will also be incorporated into the design.
